Communication and Media Arts High School
We are a small high school with a distinguished record of academic rigor and for producing students who excel in media arts careers. At CMA, we are preparing students to beome college and career ready. CMA offers rigorous academic courses, athletics, clubs, student leadership, and numerous experiences to ensure our students are fully prepared to advance towards their post-secondary goals.
Application Requirements

- Standardized Test Scores.
- One Letter of Recommendation

Detroit Public Schools Community District welcomes you to apply for admission to its exam and random selection schools for the 2024-25 school year. This application is for students entering Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 1 only. There is a separate application for students entering Grades 2-8.
This application is for Round 3. Some schools and grade levels have already been filled. For some grades that are full, we are still accepting applications for the waitlists. We are no longer accepting applicants for Montessori Pre-K.

Due to the volume of applications received during Round 1, all seats for Montessori Pre-K have been filled.

Crockett Midtown High School of Science and Medicine
At Crockett Midtown High School of Science and Medicine we are preparing students to become career and college ready. Our programs and curriculum give students the opportunity to focus on becoming a doctor, nurse, or scientist. Davis Aerospace Technical High School
Davis Aerospace Technical High School prepares students to enter the world of Aviation. All students have access to a number of Aviation classes and have the opportunity to join our Flight Training Program. Students will be prepared to test for their remote pilot's certificate and be able to join the fast-growing career sector of Commercial Drone Piloting. Students will also be able to train in one of our state-of-the-art simulators and have the possibility of piloting a real aircraft.
Application Requirements:

- A minimum of 2 references must be included in the application (from a teacher, principal, or counselor).

Application Requirements
Detroit School of Arts requires a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5, as well as an audition.
Applicants will be required to upload transcripts and/or report cards and an audition recording. You will need to provide the email address for two references: One artistic reference and one academic reference.
