Communication and Media Arts High School
We are a small high school with a distinguished record of academic rigor and for producing students who excel in media arts careers. At CMA, we are preparing students to become college and career ready. CMA offers rigorous academic courses, athletics, clubs, student leadership, and numerous experiences to ensure our students are fully prepared to advance towards their post-secondary goals.

Crockett Midtown High School of Science and Medicine
At Crockett Midtown High School of Science and Medicine, we are preparing students to become career and college-ready. Our programs and curriculum give students the opportunity to focus on becoming a doctor, nurse, allied healthcare, or scientist. We offer rigorous academic courses, athletics, clubs, student government and leadership, and numerous experiences to ensure our students are fully prepared to advance toward their post-secondary goals.

Detroit International Academy welcomes you to apply for admission to grades 9-12 for the 2026-27 school year. We are the only all-girls public school in Michigan, offering a private school-like education in a tuition-free setting.
We develop young women into confident, resilient leaders through academic rigor, a strong school culture and an environment that fosters sisterhood and the creation of lifelong friendships.
DIA is a selective school within the Detroit Public Schools Community District. Applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5.

Detroit School of Arts
Detroit School of Arts is an esteemed institution nestled in the thriving heart of Midtown Detroit. With a legacy of excellence spanning decades, we've cultivated a reputation as a beacon of artistic innovation and academic success. Our award-winning programs span a spectrum of disciplines, from visual arts to music, theater, dance, and beyond. This application is for admission in Fall 2026.
Application Requirements
Detroit School of Arts requires an audition. Applicants will be required to upload transcripts and/or report cards and, sign up for an audition or, if applicable, upload an audition file. You will need to provide the email address for two references: One artistic reference and one academic reference. The academic criteria are as follows:
A GPA of 2.5 is required for students entering 9th grade.
A GPA of 3.0 is preferred for students entering grades 10-12.
An interview may requested for some students entering grades 10-12.
Audition Required
Students applying for all disciplines are required to attend an in-person audition. There is a link to sign up for an audition date and timeslot in the application confirmation email you receive after submitting. The Final Round 1 auditions will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, November 24.
